Dr. Chute opened C & R Vision in 1985. After receiving his Doctorate of Optometry from The SUNY College of Optometry in Manhattan in 1984, Dr. Chute and his wife, Kim, moved to Victor; where they have resided ever since. He is proud of the family atmosphere he has cultivated at his business. Geriatric eye care and multifocal contact lens fittings are Dr. Chute’s specialties. He has many years of experience managing cataract, macular degeneration, and glaucoma patients. He also enjoys co-managing LASIK patients with local ophthalmologists. Dr. Chute is a member of the American Optometric Association, New York State Optometric Association, and Rochester Optometric Association. Active in the Victor community, Dr. Chute has participated on both the Village of Victor Zoning and Planning Boards, and was a member of the Victor Lions Club for over 25 years. He is a proud supporter of the Victor Central School District and all of its academic and extracurricular activities. Being a resident of the town he works in, supporting local businesses, and being a Buffalo Bills fan are paramount to Dr. Chute. We are happy to welcome you to C & R Vision for all your Eye Needs!
